Duties
- Provide translation and/or interpretation services between attorneys/law students and Chinese-speaking clients; and/or
- Translate written materials from English to Chinese or vice versa.
Due to Covid-19, the legal clinic is primarily operating remotely. Client consultations are completed over the phone. The clinic is in need of volunteers who can provide over-the-phone interpreting services. The clinic is also in need of volunteers who can assist with translating community outreach materials from English to Chinese.

CASL is one of the largest, most comprehensive social service agency in the Midwest dedicated to serving the needs of Chinese Americans and immigrants. We provide child services, elder services, employment training services, legal services, family counseling, and housing and financial education to clients of all ages and backgrounds each year.
