Are you a licensed medical professional looking to share your talents with the community? Good Samaritan Clinic in Lakeland, Florida needs your expertise.
You can help extend free medical services to low-income, uninsured Polk County residents by donating a little of your time and talent. Whether you serve once a month or once a week you can make a difference.
Looking for: nurse practitioners, physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, dental hygienists, and medical assistants. Also intake screeners and clerical assistance.
Flexible scheduling Monday - Saturday.
Safety precautions - masks, gloves and social distancing. Temperature screen and hand sanitizer upon entry.
RSVP Volunteers are 55+ years of age and make impacts in the community that are tracked on the national level.

Description
Leading Through Experience! You've gained a lifetime of experience. Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through non-profit, faith-based, and governmental agencies to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental accident insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
