The integrity of our elections is critical to the survival of our democracy. Simple measures to verify the precinct level totals can help protect against potential hacking or fraud.
We are looking for coders to collaborate with DemocracyCounts.org on two apps: ActualVote, for taking photos of poll tapes at the time of poll close; and WannaVote, for verifying the vote count end to end. In addition, volunteers may work on the website and associated video instructions.
We're especially looking for React coders, but also looking for
- Xamarin mobile app development.
- .NET CORE/Azure web services development.
- C# webservices
If you are able to help with at least 5+ hours/week until the election and are a fairly experienced React coder (or one of the above technologies) please get in touch! Thanks!

The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
