Abused children need your voice!
We invite you to attend our one-hour information session, (12PM-1PM) via zoom where you will find out if Volunteering for the Guardian ad Litem Program is right for you. We work with newborn babies to 18 years of age.
Requirements; Be a full-time resident; at least 21; be able to pass a background check, (we pay to have you fingerprinted) and you should have at least 10 hours a month of your own time to Volunteer. You are welcome to work with a friend, many couples work together. You are supported by a mentor, supervisor and attorney. If you have the heart to work with and help abused children, this might be the right option for you. This is your chance to walk along side of child who is in our system through no fault of their own.
You can change a child's story!
If you are not familiar with zoom it's easy, I will be able to walk you through the process.

Mission Statement

Guardian ad Litem Volunteers ,speak up for abused, neglected and abandoned children who live in our area. Volunteers are supported by staff,and a mentor who will help you to advocate for our most vulnerable children in court, the child welfare system and the community. If you are a full time Florida resident, at least 21 years old, with 8-10 hours monthly to Volunteer, Attend our next information session where the exact duties and time required will be discussed. We follow all COVID 19 safety guidelines... Volunteer opportunities and training is currently conducted via ZOOM. We want to keep you and the children we work with SAFE! Guardian ad Litem is know in some states as CASA for Children
You can change the story of a child that has been abandoned, abused or neglected.
