HSE is looking for animators, volunteers who know how to create animated videos with software such as Blender, Powtoon, Source Filmmaker, Toon Boom Harmony, VideoScribe, etc.
Each week you will create a video based on the voiceover and content that we will provide. Generally, the content is related to learning English, either situational conversations, e.g. how to order food at a restaurant, or tips and tricks on how to improve speaking. The videos will be less than three minutes long. Depending on your experience and efficiency, this role requires a couple of hours per week.
It is highly recommended and preferred that you have guaranteed access to the software prior to accepting the role.
We will prioritize applicants according to one's experience, access to the software, and quality of previous work.

Description
ConnectPlus is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Virginia in the United States, founded in March 2020 by a group of high school and college students. We seek to make high-quality English education easily accessible to all. Since 2020, ConnectPlus has recruited 500+ tutors worldwide and taught 600+ students across China, logging 10,000+ hours of English instruction.
HSE is ConnectPlus' English-tutoring branch. HSE is happy to provide verification of volunteer hours (for community service requirements), volunteer certificates, and recommendations. Volunteering experiences with HSE can also be submitted as part of resumes for college and job applications.
