Grandma's House of Hope

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Orange County Emergency Volunteer Center (EVC) has been activated to support immediate volunteer needs, including hands-on and virtual opportunities during this disaster. URGENT NEED-DRIVERS Deliver Food Bags to Low-Income Nanas Kidz Families. Grandma's House of Hope delivers over 40,000 meals each month to more than 3,000 hungry children effect by the COVID-19 crisis. Due to COVID-19 Grandma's House of Hope is in need of volunteer DRIVERS to help transport the food bags for our Nana's Kidz program. We’re looking for Drivers - 26 and older with valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance. Current Needs: Distribution locations are at schools in Tustin Unified - Wednseday's 7am-9am. You do not have to sign up for all days/times. Please click, "EXPRESS INTEREST" below for more information. This volunteer opportunity would require you to have your own vehicle to drive and be able to transport 150 to 200 Nanas Kidz food bags. Sample size cars used in the past; sedan or small SUV. Other vehicles will be considered. (CDC recommended precautions will be followed throughout the process - Masks must be worn at all times.)
