Help Distribute Food To Families in Need (Outdoors)

Food Distribution

This outdoor food distribution will occur every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month through December 2020. We will be distributing bags/boxes of food items to families in need with COVID-19 protocols in place.

This opportunity is ideal for groups of 5-8.

Volunteer will interact with the community by handing out food items (both perishable & nonperishable) from 6 to 8 pallets, light lifting is involved.

Description

WHO WE ARE:
Friendly Center has been helping less-fortunate children and their families move toward self-sufficiency for 95 years. This is done through over 20 programs and services. We provide life-changing assistance to more than 1,000 families each year.

WHAT WE DO:
We help the entire family with programs in education, food support, and mental health services. Our goal is to meet the needs a family may face, get them back on their feet, and prevent the cycle from continuing to the next generation.
