ESL Teacher: Level 1

We taking precautions for COVID-19 by having constant cleaning, students with masks and sanitizers available. Also having a smaller group that the teacher feels comfortable with as we have a large space for the class. For example, just keeping to 5 - 10 adults.

Looking to start sometime in January

The English teacher will create and employs a comprehensive curriculum that is appropriate for level 1 / 2 adults and demonstrates a working knowledge of basic english grammar and give homework, outsides activities to help nurture a continuous learning for full-time working adults.

Maintains a cooperative attitude of when working together with a teacher assistant (if needed) and other volunteers. This class is geared for non-English speakers trying to learn and improve the English language.

  • Responsible for distributing homework, assignments and creating a curriculum for about 3 months.
  • Class 1x times a week ( at least )
  • You pick what evening: tuesday - friday or saturday afternoon works for you

Our Yearly schedule (before covid) but we are looking mainly for this Winter 2021:
  • Sept - Mid Dec
  • Jan - mid April
  • end of April - July
