We need 5-8 volunteers to help at our Zach's Place child care center for children with disabilities. This would be a great opportunity for a school or church group. We'll need help sanitizing, cleaning and organizing shelves, floors, toys, blinds. The center needs a thorough cleaning - indoor & outdoor window cleaning. In addition, we need folks to help with some light yard work, pulling weeds, sweeping wood chips and cutting bushes. Teens are OK if they come with their parents. Let us know if you can help out - We have chosen the date of SATURDAY, July 17th from 9am-3pm but time/date is very flexible based on the group’s schedule. Refreshments will be provided. Special Kids Special Families (SKSF) is a non-profit organization in Colorado Springs, founded in 1998 to provide community support services to families who are raising youth and caring for adults with disabilities and special needs. Our organization also provides respite & child care through our Zach's Place program, child and adult home placement, specialized foster care, community & center based adult day programs, family preservation services & behavioral health services.
