Grow, Girl, Grow: How-To Series!
Girls everywhere are looking for ways to stay engaged, learn new skills, and have fun. That’s where you come in! We’re asking our phenomenal volunteers to create 3-5 minute how-to instructional videos to help our girls grow their skills and confidence.
Do you want to contribute a Grow, Girl, Grow: How-To Series video but aren’t sure what the focus should be? Here’s a great place to begin: focus on a skill that helps girls build their self-efficacy in one of our 6-C's: coping skills, creativity, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence.
Making a How-To video is super simple - all you need is your phone! Check out our Grow, Girl, Grow: How-To Series Tutorial and sign up (see links below) to create your own Grow, Girl, Grow: How-To Series video.
And a huge shout out to our amazing volunteers who have submitted their videos on How-To Change a Tire, How-To Knit, and How-To Fold a Paper Crane!

Mission Statement
Girls Empowerment Network's mission is to ignite the power in girls by teaching them the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable.
Description
Girls Empowerment Network (GIRLS) increases girls' self-efficacy by: 1. Equipping them with the skills they need to navigate the dangers and pressures of adolescence. 2. Forging healthy, supportive bonds so they know they are never alone. 3. Surrounding them with relatable role models who encourage, inspire, and guide. GIRLS has numerous programs that serve girls in Central Texas, Houston, and Dallas in grades 3-12, including after-school programming, workshops, and an annual statewide, multi-city We Are Girls Conference.
