Our impact is bigger than ever due to COVID-19. We have not only been serving the homeless community, but now low- income apartments, motels, and anyone who needs a homemade meal!During Covid-19 we also have provided hand washing and sanitizing stations, masks and gloves for our community members who get a meal. We ensure precautions while serving through social distancing, masks, gloves and increased sanitization. We have been serving everyday except Monday and Saturday. during this increased time of need. During our normal hours we would be serving the community Sundays, Wednesdays and on Fridays serving at risk and homeless youth.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a "family of support" to homeless youth who have aged out of foster care and other at-risk young people lacking guidance as they transition to adulthood.

Description

Survive
our participants can eat a hot meal, get a change of clothes, take a shower, get groceries or snack pack for those on the streets, and experience a "safe place" to rest.
Thrive
encouraging these young adults to participate in job and life skill classes. We offer monthly classes in computer and resume skills, cooking and woodworking. Our life skill classes include grocery shopping on a budget and hygiene classes. One of our goals is to offer "real life" training and job experiences, such as working a concert or fundraiser alongside our staff, serving coffee once a month at a local church, moving a neighbor, lawn and garden work and more. We offer gift cards as incentives and use to teach, mentor and encourage good work ethics.
Thrive
provides a weekly worship service for all ages as well as a men’s and women’s bible study. Children of parents who attend are invited to a special kids church experience.
We also offer a weekly recovery group for adults of all ages who struggle with addictions.
