Volunteer tutors are needed to work with Nashua school children in grades 1 to 11 in Math or Literacy for all grades, or Science (just for grades 9 through 11). This program has been created to help Nashua students who are experiencing an increased lack of success due to our current Covid-19 remote education model.

Volunteers should have some experience with teaching, tutoring, or helping educate others in another way. Please register to volunteer here: http://www.volunteergreaternashua.org/need/detail/?need_id=540849 and then follow the link to the questionnaire indicating which subjects you have proficiency in, which grade levels you would like to work with, and your schedule.

Volunteering will take place primarily during after school hours and may be virtual or in person depending on the needs of the student. Volunteers are expected to be available for two to three hour per week for the duration of the 2020 - 2021 academic year and will be expected to pass a background check. Volunteers will usually be working with one student at a time but may be assigned to small groups if there is a group of students who need help in the same subject.

Please register here to help: http://www.volunteergreaternashua.org/need/detail/?need_id=540849
