Difficulties created by this pandemic are high yet the need to learn remains. For many of our students, this need has been heightened by losing jobs, having to teach their children from home, and navigating our ever-changing environment. As we have done for 30 years, LCOT will continue to provide quality adult education, equipping East Texas adults for successful futures.
In order to meet this demand, we need volunteer tutors! Math tutoring is one of our on-going greatest needs. We match a student with you based on your skill level and availability. Most tutors meet with their student on a consistent day for 2 hrs per week. We provide materials and training but do not let that limit your creativity if you have materials/programs you like. Contact for more details. Virtual and face to face options available.
