Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
JaxTHRIVE is a youth-led, non-profit organization with a mission to educate and inspire refugee, homeless and low income children. For this spring of 2021, we are offering virtual mentoring/tutoring opportunities to help students with their homework. Once their homework is done, mentors are encouraged to teach their students something new... how to play basketball, how to speak French, how to do the latest TikTok dance ...We are asking mentors to commit to at least one hour each week during a time that is convenient to the tutor.
How does the program work?
Each volunteer must commit to meeting with their mentee for 1 hour per week for the duration of the academic semester (through the end or May), attend a virtual orientation and training, and provide the program director with feedback throughout the term. Volunteers can negotiate their own schedule (AM or PM)
