Our Thrift Store Donation Traffic Directing Volunteer position is a new position we have created to help people coming to donate items to the Blue Ridge Humane Society Thrift Store be able to do so safely in our parking lot. This position stands outside near the donation intake to help make sure cars know where to go to drop off donations and help manage traffic. This position is outdoors throughout the entire shift and allows ample space to be socially distant. This position is very important to the success of our donation intake which provides vital funds to support animals in our region!
We are looking for people to regularly commit to a shift on Friday from 12:30-2:30 pm . If you are interested in this position, please fill our a Volunteer Application and indicate in your skills and experience section that you are interested in this position.

There are so many pieces that go into fulfilling our mission from adoption, prevention, and education and we need volunteers throughout every step of the way!
