Animal Transport Volunteers at Blue Ridge Humane Society are responsible for assisting in the safe transportation of BRHS animals from locations. Between our Adoption Center, Henderson County Animal Services, Hendersonville Petsmart, Vet offices, and various partnering shelters, BRHS animals can find themselves being transported in vehicles quite a bit. This volunteer role will help to alleviate the time of staff spent transporting animals by getting these animals where they need to be! Transport Volunteers will be assigned to help with either Petsmart Cats or Dog or Cat Vet Visit Transport.

Volunteers will sign-up for a specific day to do their transport and are expected to be regularly available on that given day of the week for animal transport.

If you are interested in serving as an Animal Transport Volunteer, please fill our a Volunteer Application and indicate in your skills and experience section that you are interested in this position.
