Pee Dee Coalition is seeking assistance with a few much-needed maintenance and building projects. Pee Dee Coalition is a non profit, volunteer-dependent organization dedicated to the reduction of sexual assault, family violence, and child abuse while meeting the needs of those victims. PDC services 8 counties, having satellite offices in each county. With most funding directed to victims and victim services, things like building maintenance and landscaping have to take a backseat.
Volunteers are needed to complete, fund, and/or provide materials for the following projects:
- Build a wheelchair ramp
- Replace gutter and downspout at the rear entrance
- Cut down trees
- Roundup on tree stumps
- Pressure wash exterior
- Paint the exterior
- Assess pooling of water at the back door when it rains
- Hang blinds in the lobby
- Construct interior storm windows
- Replace ceiling tiles

The Pee Dee Coalition is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to the reduction of rape, family violence, and child abuse and to the needs of its victims.
Description
The Pee Dee Coalition was organized in 1986 and has expanded into seven Pee Dee counties including Florence, Darlington, Marion, Chesterfield, Marlboro, Dillon, and Williamsburg. Satellite Centers are located in each of these counties where services are available 24-hours a day.
Pee Dee Coalition is a non-profit, volunteer supported organization dedicated to the reduction of rape, family violence, and child abuse and meeting the needs of victims. The Coalition is one of 15 domestic violence programs and 16 rape crisis centers in South Carolina and is the only organization that addresses all three of the interpersonal violence issues identified above.
