The Senior Services program at Riis Settlement offers a wide range of support services to older adults in the community, from daily meal services and health education to recreational activities. The program is seeking a volunteer to help facilitate remote bingo games for seniors. The volunteer(s) will receive calling cards, assist the program coordinator in calling out the numbers for each game, and get to know our seniors!

Bingo happens every Friday via Zoom from 3-5pm.

Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House is a community based non-profit organization that offers comprehensive services to the youth, adults, seniors and families in the Western Queens Community. The resources, opportunities and support we provide serve as a catalyst for community members to reach their greatest potential and achieve social and economic self-sufficiency.


A multi-service community-based organization in Long Island City Queens, Riis Settlement offers after-school programs for youth, adolescent services, immigrant services, including adult ESOL classes, and Senior Citizen support programs.
