Earth Law Center works to transform the law to recognize and protect nature’s inherent rights to exist, thrive and evolve. We do this by building a force of advocates for nature's rights at the local, state, national, and international levels.
We are a 501c3 non profit focused on two areas: legal and education. In additional to writing and helping pass city ordinances for the rights of nature, we advocate Earth Law Center courses in law schools and will launch a new program for low income middle and high schools this year. We will also have our first new pilot educational intiative internationally this year.
