The afternoon volunteer will assist participants in the food bank. The volunteer may fill a variety of roles: greeting participants and weighing the cart as they exit the food bank, handing out products from the freezer, handing out personal care products, stocking shelves, and taking in donations.
-Minimum Age - 15 without adult
-Ability and willingness to be physically active and able to do moderate to heavy lifting. Interest in service to people of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Patience, compassion and excellent customer service skills. Spanish language skills are an asset.
Shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:30-2:30 or 2:15-5:00, Tuesday and Thursday: 11:30-2:30 , 2:15-5:00, or 4:45-7:15pm
