Vision Literacy


Purpose of position:

Help adults to learn the English Language in small virtual group settings.
As the online volunteer tutor you will be responsible for running ESL classes for adults using the Google Classroom platform.


  • Should be fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English,
  • Feel competent in using Google Suite (Google Classroom, Meets, Gmail, Docs, Zoom, etc.,)
  • Friendly, organized and creative.


A virtual training would be given to the Volunteers, to help them understand the ins & outs of the functions to perform the duties.

Vision Literacy is an award-winning nonprofit organization, dedicated to providing free, high-quality classes to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) and life skills to adults. By leveraging the unique resources of Silicon Valley, we empower adults and their families to succeed and thrive. In addition to raising their literacy skills, we encourage learners to pursue personal goals -- from engaging in their children’s education and helping with homework, to finding employment, starting a business, or becoming a citizen. We are located in Santa Clara County, California.
