About Climate Action Pathways for Schools

Location:

3630 High Street, #19103, Oakland, CA 94619, US

Mission Statement

Climate Action Pathways for Schools partners with schools to provide inspiring climate education programs and implement projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while saving money for the school district. We provide pain internships that help prepare students for highly skilled college and career pathways and support them in the development of projects that mitigate climate change. At the same time, these projects reduce operating costs for school districts. We aim our climate action program primarily under-resourced schools.

Description

The CAPS programs go beyond classroom education by harnessing the interest and commitment of students to learn about climate science and apply that knowledge to solving real world problems at their schools and contribute to growing global efforts to reduce greenhouse gases in local communities.
