Do you love feeding people? We are looking for volunteers to help prepare and package lunches for about 50 seniors each day (Mon - Fri). We cook our meals from scratch with guidance from our chef. Volunteers assist with food preparation and packaging the meals. Our team is small -- about 4 people each day. Shifts are from 9.00 am - 12.30pm at the Center. Volunteers handling food will need a food handlers permit.
The meals to go we provide are just one way that Mt. Si Senior Center is helping seniors navigate the COVID pandemic. This Meals To Go program is intended to support seniors who lack the funds, ability, skills or motivation to cook a nutrition, delicious meal for themselves.
Mt. Si Senior Center seniors adults age 50+ in Upper Snoqualmie Valley. We provide social, recreational, fitness, health, wellness, and nutrition programs along with information, assistance and referral services. We also provide affordable housing for seniors and transportation for the community.
