BuddyHelp is a free mental health resource that provides emotional support to the millions of people who are struggling and who just need someone to talk to. It is chat-based and anonymous. The service is led by compassionate volunteers, who work remotely from the comfort and convenience of their smartphones. They connect with people who need someone to talk to, providing a safe space, free of judgment or bias.
Volunteer listeners are trained in active listening and psychological first aid, providing them the tools needed to make a difference in people's lives. It is COVID-19 safe, as it is fully remote and can be done from anywhere.

Description
BuddyHelp is a free mental health resource. Built as a result of being deeply moved by the incredible amounts of pain and suffering throughout the world during the height of the coronavirus lockdown.
We’re addressing the mental health crisis with a 3-pronged approach:
- Providing free volunteer-led emotional support,
- Providing professional counseling for those that need more, and
- Providing a free educational platform via our University of Compassion, where people can learn psychological first aid and counseling skills and even earn life coaching certifications. We’ve flipped the tuition model on this, and are providing it completely free, as there is a growing compassion gap and traditional institutes cannot keep up with demand.
Are you keen on an opportunity to truly make a difference in people's lives? Are you eager to expand on your active listening, crisis intervention, and compassionate leadership skills?
Then join our growing team, and apply now for a volunteer opportunity!
