-The SOAR program is a pilot program created to provide financial assistance for LG&E up to $200 per month for 6 months. During those months, community members who choose to participate in the program will work with volunteers and staff to develop and complete self-sufficiency goals in order to stay enrolled in the program. Once enrolled, community members will meet with program staff on a monthly basis, and during those meetings they will complete a monthly progress report and discuss the ongoing progress towards meeting the goals they set. -We are asking for volunteers to help facilitate these monthly meetings and track the progress of the program participants. This will be a completely virtual volunteer opportunity and meetings will be held online.
