The Alzheimer's Association of Nevada is looking for Marketing and Outreach volunteers to help us with our DIY-driven national signature event, The Longest Day. You are invited to join The Longest Day Marketing and Outreach Subcommittee where you will help to create awareness about The Longest Day and promote the event.
Responsibilities of Marketing and Outreach volunteers include:
- Looking for new and creative promotional opportunities within the community.
- Working with staff to identify participant stories for media, posting on social media, etc.
- Coordinating the delivery of collateral materials to distribution points within the community.
- Helping to identify opportunities to expand outreach into diverse communities.
The Longest Day is all about love. Love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Between now and June 21, 2022, people across the world will do what they love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s. Together, we will raise funds and awareness for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Description
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer's Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity. These strategic initiatives also strengthen outreach to all populations, providing communities with resources and support to address the Alzheimer’s crisis. By partnering with organizations locally and nationally to advance diversity and inclusion, the Association can broaden its reach in all communities.
