Chomebooks can be dropped off to volunteers or picked up in Holyoke or Northampton.
The Performance Project is providing Chromebooks to eight youth members (ages 9-11) in Ubuntu and possibly also in First Generation (ages 15 and up) so that they can continue to participate in our arts programs virtually, meet with their mentors and continue to receive academic support on Zoom.
We’re looking for a volunteer who can help us with the 1st steps of this process, which involve:
- Setting up each Chromebook with the maximum child-safety filters.
- Setting up Gmail accounts for each youth.
- Downloading Zoom.

Description
The Performance Project brings people together to create theater and visual art through multi-generational collaborations. Our members participate in artistic training, inter-generational mentoring and leadership development. We claim a public voice, engage audiences in dialogue about oppression and liberation, and celebrate our humanity and connection through the arts.
