Be our volunteer partner and impact the lives of more than 2700 people we serve every year! We are looking for a passionate person who is seeking to empower our team with basic office support. Data-entry, phone support, customer service, reception, filing, or special mailing projects are all aspects of helping the wheels go around at The League! We prefer someone who can dedicate at least 4 hours per week, or 8 hours per month to support various tasks and projects for our agency.

Description

For more than 70 years, The League has been serving people with disabilities in our community. We engage in community change activities through systemic advocacy, public education, collaboration, and technical assistance. Advocacy is at the heart of everything we do at The League, including systemic advocacy as well as individual advocacy. We teach people with disabilities how to be advocates for themselves and others as well! We serve people of all ages with any type of disability, and most importantly, they are the guide in their goals to independence, while we simply serve as partners to achieving these goals! Our Volunteers empower our mission, service impact, and become part of our passionate team of people serving more than 2700 people every year.   • Background Check
  • Must be at least 21
  • Orientation or Training
  • At least 4 hours per week, or 8 hours per month during regular business hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm or Fridays 8am to 3pm. Flexible scheduling - pick your shift. A set shift/day is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; Organization skills such as filing and efficiency with typing for data entry as needed.
