Help with Wildfire Shelters in Santa Cruz!

American Red Cross of Northern California Coastal Region


The Red Cross is actively responding to the current Wildfires by providing Shelter and assistance to those in need. We need your help to help our community! As a shelter worker you will assist clients within the dormitory or outside by providing comfort kits, blankets, cots, etc as requested and with the guidance of their site Supervisor. Shelter workforce may be asked to register residents, sanitize surfaces (such as tables, chairs, etc.) in accordance with Red Cross COVID requirements. Associates may have to lift up to 30lbs. Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided as needed. Water, snacks available, and 1 meal provided.
