***VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY***

Our mission is to invest in women's ability to create economic opportunity for themselves and others. Through monetary grants, access to pro-bono services and access to "social capital," we offer the investment and support that many women need to jumpstart their education or entrepreneurial dreams.

We are looking for volunteers to join our virtual events committee! We are fundraising for our Covid-19 relief grants to support women locally and internationally who have been economically impacted by the pandemic.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and host a wide variety of virtual events and classes (examples: yoga, painting, cooking, finance, music, etc.)
  • Consistently promote upcoming virtual events within your social media network and event sharing platforms
  • Engage with your community and share LONA’s mission and virtual events
  • Research virtual activities people within your community would be interested in by posting surveys and polls on your social media
  • Collaborate with the virtual events committee and social media team to brainstorm social media strategies and outreach opportunities
