Hello There!
Kindred Hospice is always looking for volunteers to help our patients and families during these critical times. Volunteers can sit with patients, either talking - reading - or simply being a calming presence.
Volunteers help with house hold chores or run errands for the family to alleviate care-giver duties.
Do you have a special talent or skill? Our patients and loved ones would love to experience what you have to offer.
Are you in school and need to learn some jobs skills or increase your professionalism, come be a volunteer. Hospice Volunteer looks really good on a resume.
Are you retired and looking to give your time doing something heart-felt, come join. You will meet some amazing people.
Come be part of the hospice team.
Training is done at your own pace and home.
TB test, background check, and drug screening is required.

Description
Hospice programs provide state-of-the-art palliative care and supportive services to individuals at the end of live, their family members and significant others. Physical, social, spiritual, and emotional care is provided by clinically-directed interdisciplinary team consisting of patients and their families, professionals, and volunteers during the last stages of an illness, dying process and bereavement period.
