Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
PurpleStride Colorado is a family-friendly 5k walk event and is the signature event of the Colorado Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. All of the proceeds from PurpleStride Colorado support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
The Event Experience Chair is a key member of the PurpleStride planning committee. This person (or committee of persons) will work to make sure participants have a great event day experience. They will plan and execute top team and individual event-day recognition, food and beverage, the opening and closing ceremonies, Purple Play Zone (kid's area), photographers and photo area, and overall event experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is willing to work with the rest of the PurpleStride planning committee to play a key role in the success of this event. Training and support will be provided to be successful in this role. This role can be done remotely leading up to event day each June.
Pancreatic cancer is currently the third leading cause of all cancer-related death in the United States - and impacts every state across the country. In order to rewrite the future of pancreatic cancer we need communities nationwide to join together and create a movement. This national movement needs your leadership and vision to continue to thrive and grow!
We invite you to join a dynamic group of volunteers in Colorado committed to changing the course of this terrible disease and getting more involved in their community.
If you are interested in expanding your skills, building meaningful relationships and truly making a difference in this fight against pancreatic cancer, please email: Natascha Martin at nmartin@pancan.org for more information!

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is the only national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure. The organization raises money for direct private funding of research--and advocates for more aggressive federal research funding of medical breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network fills the void of information and options by giving patients and caregivers reliable, personalized information they need to make informed decisions. We create a sense of hope and community so no one has to face pancreatic cancer alone. The organization helps support individuals and communities all across the country work together to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
We'll work with your schedule.
