Purpose
Volunteers will assist in our ability to facilitate outdoor visits between residents living in our Assisted Living and Long-Term Care setting with their loved ones successfully and safely.Volunteers will assist in our ability to facilitate outdoor visits between residents living in our Assisted Living and Long-Term Care setting with their loved ones successfully and safely.
Volunteer Duties
Volunteer duties may include:- Working with staff to assist with scheduling of visits.
- Monitoring visit space to determine capacity.
- Monitoring sign in/out procedures.
- Observing visits from an appropriate distance to provide privacy but also ensure safety protocols are being followed.
- Alert staff about violations of inappropriate distancing for staff to determine if intervention is needed.
- Potentially other duties may be assigned as guidelines change, based on comfort level of community and volunteer.
Volunteer must be 18 years of age. Volunteer must have good customer service and verbal communication skills. Volunteers may be asked to participate in site-wide COVID-19 testing procedures.
