ORGANIZATION: Community Action Partnership of Orange County

Due to COVID-19 we have seen a spike in the number of people seeking help from the Food Bank system. Orange County is seeing a sense of urgency for volunteers to help package boxes of food for senior citizens. Currently, there are 25,500 registered seniors in need of food and they are relying on the service of volunteers like yourself to package their goods. We have several opportunities for volunteering, whether it is something you do to make you happy or fulfilling service hours, we are here to meet your volunteer needs and desires. We are diligent on following CDC guidelines and making sure you have a safe space to complete volunteer service. Please note that masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer are available to you at all times. We welcome all ages and are a family-oriented site. You are also more than welcome to bring a group or organization along with you. All we ask is that you please register as a volunteer on www.capoc.volunteerhub.com. You can register by clicking "SIGN UP" next to the event you desire, if it says "FULL" we have reached capacity for that event so please look at other available dates and times, however we are currently in need of several volunteers to serve a variety of 2 hour shifts.
