Overview: As the COVID-19 pandemic continues and food insecurity grows for our most vulnerable residents, LTSC has implemented various programs to help residents weather these tough times. One way is with pantry and produce produce deliveries throughout Little Tokyo and the surrounding community. Volunteers play an integral role by delivering these pantry and produce items each week in a safe and socially distant manner.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities:
Assemble pantry bags that adhere to dietary restrictions and/or religious restrictions
Delivery Pantry/Produce bags in a socially distant manner
Must be able to lift upwards of 35 pounds
Japanese and Spanish fluency a plus!
When: Every Friday from 1:30pm - 3:00pm

LTSC CDC is diverse in projects and is an excellent place to really interact with diverse communities.
