Halloween Event needs volunteers (Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree)

Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree is looking for volunteers to help facilitate limited touch carnival games, photo stops and a trick or treat village. Due to COVID-19, we will be only selling 600 admission tickets and the event will be spaced off over 5 full soccer fields.

Volunteers will receive a Volunteer T-shirt
Volunteers will receive a mask and gloves

No lunch will be provided

Our mission is to provide safe, clean parks and facilities for citizens and visitors to experience leisure, recreation, and educational opportunities.


Polk County Parks & Recreation provides the community with safe, fun, and low-cost or free recreation and events throughout the year. We produce over 30 special events every year at various parks and venues, and operate a camp during the summer. We rely on the support of volunteers to continue providing the community with these recreational opportunities. For questions or more information, please call (863) 534-6911.
