Sertoma Centre provides support to nearly 2,000 individuals annually, with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and those living with mental illness. We are a local CARF accredited nonprofit with locations in Alsip and Matteson, Illinois.
We're in need of a Photographer and Videographer Volunteer. This volunteer will work in collaboration with our dynamic and creative Advancement Team.
This role may include:
* A background check, and free training that includes CPR and First Aid.
* Taking photos/videos of day-to-day activities at Sertoma Centre in Alsip and Matteson.
* Taking photos/videos at fundraisers, like the Heroes Cook-Off, Cruse for a Cause, Super Sale, etc.
* Taking photos/videos at our community outreach events.
* Creating photos/videos in collaboration with the Advancement Team for important occasions including Giving Tuesday, holiday Adopt-a-Consumer, DSP Week, etc.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience in the video and photography field. (prefered)
* Is knowledgeable about Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc. (prefered)
* Has access to professional equipment.
* Can share photos and videos with the Sertoma Centre in a timely manner via Dropbox or other means.
* Is comfortable travelling to events, outreach days, and others within the greater Chicagoland area.
