Do you have spare time to spend with our aging hospice patients and their families? Use your time to Come Socialize and Offer Companionship to our Hospice Patients that are Stuck at Home!
We are looking for volunteers to spend time with hospice patients. We are looking for volunteers that can...
- Share in conversation with a patient or caregiver who hasn’t left their home in weeks.
- Providing companionship by just being there to sit and listen.
- Sit with a patient while their loved one goes to the store.
Volunteers are provided with training, team support, opportunities for continued education, volunteer appreciation events, PPE for home visits, and so much gratitude from patients and families it could fill a bucket!
