Food rescue drivers will assist with tackling food insecurity in our community by working with our logistics team to complete grocery store pick-ups and redistributing these donations to community/hunger-relief organizations.
Our drivers assists with picking up food donations in the morning and dropping the donation off at local organizations within the city of Philadelphia! Routes take roughly 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on how many grocery store pick ups you are available to complete.

About Sharing Excess
5109 Warren Street, Philadelphia, PA 19131, US
Sharing Excess connects colleges and communities to reduce hunger and food waste. We believe excess should be shared-- not wasted. Our mission is to use 100% of healthy food excess in communities to increase prosperity for all.
Sharing Excess is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating food insecurity by redistributing excess food in the community. By the end of 2020, we hope to redistribute 1,000,000 pounds of food in our city of Philadelphia through daily distribution pick-ups and our pop-up distribution events.
