(1) Oversee Environmental Sustainability program of Design Committee and associated projects under the program. Projects can include initiating a green team, supporting businesses in sustainability practices or developing a bike friendly environment
(2) Support driving projects from start to finish, while maintaining project timeline and deliverables and using project management tools and templates
(3) Support managing implementation
(4) Support developing maintenance plan
(5) Serve as point of contact for volunteers (e.g. project leads/designees or any team member supporting the program and related projects) and affiliated partners/consultants (e.g. Experts in environmental science and sustainability, urban farming and gardening, efficient energy use)
(6) Recruit for and delegate projects and associated assignments, as appropriate
(7) Report updates at monthly committee meetings.

The BDA's mission is to promote the preservation, history, culture, architecture, and public use of Beaverton's traditional downtown area.
Description
We seek to enhance our community identity and foster a center of activity and economic vitality for the heart of Beaverton. We do this through four primary points of emphasis
1) Promotion: Planning events that draw people in to downtown and promoting how exciting Beaverton really is. We are not a suburb!
2) Design: Improving the design of our downtown community.
3) Economic Vitality: Supporting local business growth, expansion, and recruitment.
4) Organizational Health: Fundraising, developing partnerships, and supporting a strong organization through internal processes.
