Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

This position will assist the Volunteer Coordinator with new volunteer applicant processing.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and evaluate potential volunteers’ skills for appropriate placement
  • Work with B.O.N.E.S. Volunteer Coordinator and committee chairs to fill open positions within the organization
  • Assist Coordinator in maintaining volunteer files and volunteer databases

Qualifications

  • Must sign a B.O.N.E.S. volunteer contract or already be a B.O.N.E.S. volunteer
  • Must reside in New England
  • Excel and Word skills preferred
  • Strong verbal skills
  • Commitment to the mission of B.O.N.E.S.

B.O.N.E.S. was founded in 2003 for the purpose of rescuing beagles and placing them in forever homes. B.O.N.E.S. is registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.

B.O.N.E.S. is an all volunteer organization, comprised of dedicated people who want what is best for beagles in their area.
