About BUILDING SMART KIDS

Location:

1939 RICHMOND AVE, HOUSTON, TX 77098, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to distribute our tutors and education around the world so that every child can have the best education. Children are our future so it is important to teach them the best we can. Building Smart Kids understands that their are parts of the world where children can’t reach the maximum potential, those are the areas we focus on. Every child should achieve their dreams and have access to quality education, regardless of their economic background. The more we distribute the more children we can help. The more children we can help the better this world will be.

Description

We were founded in Houston. Now, we have become an international organization. Through customized programs, we offer tutoring in math and English in third ward Houston, Pasadena, Katy, as well as India, Honduras and Panama. We alter our program according to region, curricula, and educational level of students. Our program is targeted mostly for those between 9 and 11 years of age. This is because these are the ages where students begin to learn the basic concepts of math such as multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. And when students reach high school without a strong foundation in those topics, they tend to be unsuccessful in understanding more complex concepts such as algebra, geometry, and calculus. We want to target the problem at the source. This goes for English as well. We target third graders because statistics show that if a child does not have fluency in reading by that grade, they are more likely to commit crimes when they are older. We offer the math program in the U.S., Panama and Honduras. We offer the English program in the U.S. and India.
