In January of 2021, we will be launching our Saturday food pantry. In addition to our normal food pantry days, Saturday pantry will take place every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 9AM to noon. This includes setting up the soup kitchen (placing food in oven, setting up beverage station, preparing sides), serving meals in the kitchen, registering neighbors to go through the food pantry, serving as a guided shopper by taking neighbors through the food pantry one-on-one, and cleaning the dining hall and kitchen after the pantry and kitchen have closed.
Spanish speaking volunteers may be asked to help assist with translation.
We encourage everyone to wear a mask while in our building.

Mission Statement
Westminster Neighborhood Services provides education support, access to basic needs, and community connections to empower neighbors and strengthen youth and families on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis.
Description
In 1982, three Near Eastside neighborhood churches, including Westminster Presbyterian Church, began serving youth during a summer program in order to combat poor student achievement while providing a safe environment during summer months while students are out of school.
Recognizing that the neighborhood’s needs extended beyond the children and into to the families, Westminster began offering a soup kitchen and food pantry one day a week. In 2014, Westminster opened doors to its new Family & Adults Services Center which allowed expansion of services and programs.
Today, Westminster partners with more than 20 community organizations to assist with program services. The power of partnerships allows Westminster to meet the needs of the neighbors and help equip them to break down barriers that are keeping them in their current situations.
