Volunteer for the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular!

We are happy to announce that the Zoo’s largest community event and fundraiser, Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular, is back for another season for 2021!

If you are interested in volunteering for Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular, the Zoo is recruiting volunteers every day of the event, Monday-Sunday, with shifts in the evening from 4:45pm-11:00pm, October 1-31st. Volunteer responsibilities include supporting the visitors admission line and providing general information such as answering questions and educating guests about the event. All volunteers will be positioned outdoors and the event is held rain or shine. All volunteers ages 16-17 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
As a thank you for volunteering, volunteers will be given 2 complimentary event tickets for another night. Even if you can volunteer for a shift or two, know that your support makes a difference, as the Zoo relies on hundreds of volunteers throughout the event.
