We are a national, nonprofit organization that services thousands of seniors and caregivers daily. We are seeking virtual volunteers to respond to email and telephone inquiries. For volunteers who can donate a couple of hours per week or per day to handling incoming calls, we are in great need. We will provide you with an email address as well as an extension on our 800 number.
Volunteers will respond to email and/or telephone inquiries (which may require phone calls being returned from voice messages).
Also, for those who are available, we are in need of handling incoming calls a few hours per week or per day. Virtual assistants will be provided with an email address and extension on our 800 number. Calls can be routed to volunteers number at a specified time, if necessary.

Description
The Senior Citizens Bureau was created in 1998 to provide critical services to the aging community. Recognizing that an important need of seniors is to receive accurate information about a variety of subjects, we offer comprehensive resources, directories and referrals to those who need them the most. Since its inception the SCB has served 770,000 clients nationally through all programs combined. Key to our success are over 470 volunteers who are the voice and face of the organization.
Our mission is to provide continuing education, information, support services and personal assistance to senior adults, their caregivers and loved ones. The SCB strives to provide peace of mind and assistance to senior adults and those who care for them.
