The challenge is of course COVID-19, which is especially dangerous for kidney patients because of their compromised health status. KQF Is striving to meet this challenge through making information and support groups available online, and providing needed equipment and materials - particularly to those not able to leave their homes to obtain what they need.
The Kidneys Quest Foundation would like to ask to consider becoming a volunteer for our KQF Emergency Back Pack Program October 19 th Round Up Event. This will benefit patients (adults as well as children) living with kidney disorders. All donations raised by will be used for supplies for 600 Emergency backpacks needed by kidney patients in the event of any kind of emergency.
KQF Emergency Backpack Relief Program targets individuals with Chronic Kidney Disease unaware of the importance of having an emergency plan. The emergency backpack is suited for the individual needs of the patient to survive a crisis, an emergency or a natural disaster. Patients learn steps they need to take and the type of materials they need for emergencies depending on individual renal diet/health requirements and conditions.
