Our community continues to grow and become more diverse. We are seeking a Spanish speaking volunteer, who can assist with our clients where Spanish is their primary language. Ideally, we would like a volunteer with business experience, who can assist in mentoring clients. Also, we need someone who could be a translator working with another mentor.

Currently this volunteer position works from home; We have been using zoom for many of our client meetings. This candidate will need their own computer and internet access. Expectations for time commitment will be varied, based on the need of the clients, but schedules are generally flexible. Training will be provided prior to start. Computer literacy necessary.

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.

SCORE SC Lowcountry is an award-winning SCORE chapter that was recently selected Chapter of the Year- Small Markets from over 240 chapters. We work with clients that want to start or grow a business in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, or Colleton counties.

For over 50 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.

We provide:

  • Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
  • Free business tools, templates, and tips online
