Become an ambassador for our Inpatient veterans who are getting released from the hospital. This is an opportunity for you to show great customer service to our veterans and their guests when leaving the facility for ease, convenience and staffing time management.
You will require the following qualifications:
Willingness to do what needs to be done to aid the veteran and family in a patient's speedy and seamless discharge. The ability to pick-up and deliver to the veteran medical equipment (cane, walker, crutches etc.), medications form the main pharmacy and dressing supplies in order to free up nursing staff. At discharge completion, transport the veteran via wheel chair to their vehicle.

The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System is a Joint Commission-accredited facility serving Veterans in eastern Colorado and parts of Kansas. The VA Medical Center is located in Denver, Colorado and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics are located in: Alamosa, Aurora, Golden, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, La Junta, and Lamar, CO. There are Primary Care Telehealth Outreach Clinics in Burlington and Salida, CO, an ambulatory surgical center at the Air Force Academy, a Community Living Center in Pueblo (40 beds), and along with the Department of Defense and Veteran Benefit Administration, an Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) Center at Fort Carson, CO.
