Sharing Tree

Christmas Connection is a 38-year tradition in the metro area. Sharing Tree will continue to serve families in need at Christmas While dignity remains the priority of Sharing Tree’s services, this year we are also prioritizing the health of our community by shifting our services from in-store shopping to a pickup service. Just fill out the registration form and questionnaire and Santa and his elves will do the shopping for you! Registration is currently open to our referral partner agencies and will open to the public on September 15th. Sharing Tree was founded to serve the community through its difficult seasons. Therefore, we have made the decision to open this year’s Christmas Connection program to the general public who might be dealing with the ongoing financial impacts of COVID-19.
Christmas Connection is projected to serve 800+ families this year.
We need YOU to help us shop our store for them. Christmas shopping volunteers will look at Christmas lists made by families and help select toys and clothes for them based on their listed preferences and wants. This is as close to being one of Santa's elves as it gets!
We will also need volunteers to help spread Christmas cheer when families come to pick up their packages in our drive-through service!
Sharing Tree requires volunteers, clients, and staff to wear a mask while in our store. Our facility is large enough to allow for more-than-adequate social distancing. We have sanitizing stations throughout the store and are happy to answer any questions you may have about our health and safety practices.
