During the pandemic health emergency our clothing pantry now offers 3 meals per week. We are in need of someone to work the three days in the kitchen supervising the menu, meal preparation and picking up food from the foodbank.

Mission Statement
The purpose of our ministry is to provide support to persons/families that have limited to no resources by providing them with clothing and household goods at absolutely no cost. By providing this support it is our intention to help families that are in need, to improve their situation in life by stretching the funds they do have so they might be able to purchase food and pay for living quarters.
Description
The Westside Free Store operates similarly to any retail organization. Customers shop in the store and make selections from the available goods. The goods are donated by caring individuals in and around the Columbus area. There is absolutely no cost for the goods and there are no stipulations as to who can receive the goods. The difference between the Free Store and a typical retail organization is that there is no cost for the goods taken and there a limit on the number of articles per person that can be obtained each month.

REQUIREMENTS
- Driver's License Needed
- Must be at least 20
- 12 to 15 hours per week. Day and times the meals are served: Mondays 9:30 to noon, Thursdays 3 to 5, Saturdays 11am to 12:30pm. Volunteers usually arrive an hour before to prep and 30 minutes to clean.
- Level 1 Food Safety and willing to become a level 2 Food Safety certificaton.
